The Yorkshire Coast and our community is an amazing place to live. But we need investment to help our towns and rural areas achieve their potential. So it was great to welcome Rishi Sunak to the Construction Skills village in Scarborough alongside local apprentices to discuss the challenges we face, including the A64, cleaning up our rivers and bays, social care and creating a better future for young people here. It is good to see the government's commitment to skilled employment, and the millions being invested in our towns, including rebuilding two local schools.
I will always bang the drum for Scarborough and Whitby to help us build an even brighter future and make sure our voice is heard!
