I met with North Yorkshire's Police and Crime Commissioner this week to discuss the launch of North Yorkshire Police's Building Barrowcliff Together project. It is good to see our police working with local partners to drive out organised crime and antisocial behaviour in Barrowcliff. I hope this targeted action will help make the local community feel safer. I will continue to lobby the police to crack down further on crime, drugs and antisocial behaviour hot spots across Scarborough and Whitby so that no one in our community feels unsafe.
